What began as a simple process of communication between two people can now be categorized in two ways. It can either be two point communications in which only two persons are involved. This is a simpler form of video conferencing. The other, more complex and much more elaborate form involves the functioning of groups of people in more than two places. This is termed as a multi point video conference, sometimes. However, both two- point as well as multi point video conference use visual and audio transmitting technology. All in all it is a new technology that is yet to become cheap and handy for the masses.
