If you are reading this article then it’s fair to say you already know that most of your computer problems or errors are originated from the registry of your system. It is unlikely you have ever asked anyone how to go about cleaning the registry. Before cleaning up your system you have to know that there are two major causes of the errors which will affect your PC’s performance.

An unclean registry happens if you delete a software manually without going through the process of uninstalling which is why you will often find unused files/data saturating your registry. You will notice how this affects your computer if it is something you perform regularly. Registry Crash could be a much greater problem and one of the possible causes is incompatible hardware driver. If an error message occurs during the installation of software but you force it to continue installing then this could be the cause of the problem. A more serious problem is the blue screen of death which might appear.

It is important to note that your computer will still slow down gradually even if you always carry out the process of keeping your registry clean and safe. When you use your PC/laptop for months without ever carrying out routine maintenance this is when it is most likely to occur. Windows has its own maintenance programs such as disk defragmenter or disk clean up, which can certainly help you keeping your computer registry organized. Your computer should perform better by performing maintenance regularly although just because it is organized that does not necessarily mean clean. With windows tools, all of those unused files are kept together in a particular space of your disk if you carry out this routine maintenance regularly. If you never perform the maintenance however, these files are spread all over your system.

Many registry cleaning software packages are available on the market to help you clean this essential part of your computer system. To make sure your computer never runs slow you may perform the scanning every day and this will ensure you do not become frustrated with the constant errors again. Some versions of registry software programs provide many features within them. To make it more convenient for its users, it includes a built-in scheduler, junk file cleaner and more. If you make a buying decision too early you may end up buying registry software that is not the best quality and cause even more errors.
